An honest comparison

EarnedList vs Apollo

Apollo is a very capable product, and for plenty of teams it's the right one. This page isn't a takedown — it's a map of two different jobs, so you can tell which one is yours. Facts below are as of August 2026; check current pricing on both sides before deciding.

The core difference

Apollo sells access to a database — 200M+ contacts by its own count — plus a toolbox for searching, filtering, sequencing and dialing against it. You define the ICP, build the filters, judge the results, and run the outreach machine. It rewards teams with time and operator skill.

EarnedList sells a finished deliverable: roughly thirty accounts researched one at a time, each with a reason specific to that company, a dated trigger, a contact whose name was verified verbatim on a cited page — or an honest gap — and the evidence attached. You review, click, and reach out from your own inbox. It's built for one person with no time to become a data operator.

Choose Apollo if…

You have (or are) a sales team that will live in the tool daily; you need volume infrastructure — dialer, bulk sequences, big exports; you enjoy building and tuning filter logic; or your motion genuinely requires reaching thousands of prospects, not thirty accounts.

Choose EarnedList if…

You're a solo founder or single seller whose scarce resource is time, not leads; your market is won account by account, not blast by blast; you've been burned by bounced "verified" contacts and want evidence you can click before you hit send; or you want a list you could defend line-by-line in front of an investor.

The honest caveat

If thirty deeply-researched accounts is the wrong shape for your motion — high-velocity SMB sales, e-commerce, anything where volume genuinely wins — Apollo-style tooling will serve you better, and we'd rather tell you that here than after a trial.
